• If you have a referral from your GP and a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP), the current rebate is $141.85 per session (Gap payment of $58.15).

• The MHCP must be arranged prior to your first appointment for you to receive your Medicare rebate.

• The full fee for each session is $200 and is payable either online or following each session. Your Medicare rebate is paid directly back into your debit card bank account almost immediately.

• If you are in receipt of a Centrelink pension, a discounted fee can be negotiated. This fee is generally $175 (gap payment of $33.15).

• Bulk Billing is available for those in very difficult financial situations. Please bring Centrelink cards to verify your financial situation.

• Your GP will need to review your progress at the end of 6 sessions and approve the additional 4 available on your MHCP.

• If you have private health insurance, you can obtain a rebate and won't need a MHCP. The amount available depends on the rules and rebate limits of your private health fund. You can use private health insurance or Medicare rebates but not for the same session.

For new clients, when you make your first booking, you will be emailed an online self-assessment of your current level of psychological distress (CORE-OM). This assessment is completed again after 6 sessions to identify if therapy has improved you level of psychological distress.

 

Please provide a copy of your GP referral and Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) before your first session.
